The top two ears are cracked on my M21. Anybody know a local shop that can weld them up fast?

Welding the ears is ok, if it only broke on the trans side. If the bellhousing side is cracked too, it will require welding and then machining flat. But more importantly why did it crack? There is some serious misalignment there for it to crack the ears.

Well the one trans ear was cracked through causing gear oil to leak so I dropped off my trans to Jody Haag....TC Chevelle guy in Reading. Getting a new Muncie Supercase!
One step foward three steps back. I also found the correct water pump deep groove pulley, now the fan clutch bolt pattern is wrong so it's off to get the correct one.

Good Dan. Jody will have the trans done soon so I just have to bolt it up and drop in the motor. I should be ready for Sat April 4th at the Grove..if not I may have to run the wifes Audi
