Hello people ! I just signed up last night after talking to one of your members on the TC site . I think its great to have a local Chevelle club such as the one you guys put together here . I live just outside Philly and frequent the Grove , but lately its been just as a spectator  . But I hope to have my Chevelle out of the garage and back onto the streets / strip for next summer ! Anyway , I just wanted to say hello and let you know that I think this is a great site and I look forward to being a part of it . I hope I am posting this in the right place .... I still can't figure out computers  |

Hello again everyone and thanks for the nice welcome ! And yes Joe , this is Joe from TC ! I would go back into my profile to add my name but can't figure out how to get there ! How ya been ?
I will be at the Grove on Oct 27th to watch you guys run your Chevelles ! But unfortunately , mine will not be about to make it . As a matter of fact , if everything goes smoothly , I should be firing it up tomorrow for the first time !
Anyway , thanks again for the welcome and all the nice comments ! You all have some very very nice rides also ! And I look forward to the meet on the 27th !

Glad to hear you will make it on the 27th Joe... unfortunately I may not make it. Lost the transmission in my everyday driver and my malibu 400 is in pieces. |

Hey guys...camaro looks to be out Dan. Boss has decided not to send it to have the transmission fixed. Instead he says he's having another sb 406 with 600 hp built for it and putting in a new transmission and rear gears and redoing the suspension in it after the end of this month. We put the new car lift in yesterday at the shop so we can pull everything out and he's asked me to do the installation when the new engine and transmission are ready. Hands good Dan...finger tip has one more layer of skin to be fully healed. break in bone is healing good another two weeks should be fully healed up. Now to getting a ride from Dave...too far out of his way to drag that trailer and car back to get me and then back to my house. Besides he will probably leave me in the Grove at end of night...lol I will see how things pan out over next two weeks as to if I'm going to make it or not. |
