I finally ordered my TKO today. I had the cash saved up a while ago, but needed it to pay bills. My wife finally broke down and spotted me the rest of the cash so I can hopefully have it in before the OC cruize. Hopefully it will be here either Friday or monday next week.

I got the old trans out yesterday. The flywheel resurfaced. New Clutch installed with the new scatter sheild. Floor pans cut and ut welded in the new pans. I was going to put the new trans in today and put my exhaust back, but I can't seem to get the clutch fork lined up. I thnk i need another pivot ball. Hopefully I can order one this week and have it in after work onw night.

We ran into the same problem with Dan's TKO swap too. had to put the one from his original bell housing in the new scatter shield.

you need an adjustable ball and you have to set the depth. you need to measure the flywheel from the crank surface to the clutch plate surface and follow the direction on figuring the depth. you can't just use any ball. A&A auto can probably have a ball the next day. is it stock flywheel or billet?

It is a big block fly wheelon a small block. We tried the original, but that was way off. It looks like it was off on the old trans. There are no A&As near by. I have a local speed shop that should be able to do the same. Hopefully I can get it in after work this week. The only problem is the car is in Quakertown and I am in downingtown. It is a bit of a ride.

there is about 4 A&A stores near me I'll check tomorrow morning if any of them has a ball in stock
no luck they have to order it.

Dan I am coming to OC, but I will not be until friday morning. We ran into another issue with the trans yesterday. The bellhousing is.014 off and I can not seem to get it closer even with the adjustable dowel pins. I am just going to trailer it to a professional on tuesday and hopefully be running by this weekend.

I dropped the car off at the driveshaft shop last night. Hopefully It will be ready later this week.

I finally got the car back and the driveshaft in. Drove it home and spent the night putting the interior back in. I'm almost ready to hit OC tomorrow. I didn't get a chance to wash the car, but it is going to rain anyway.
