To try to hold regular meetings during the week as opposed to weekends? It seems that weekends are so busy with car shows, family stuff, etc... that it's hard to schedule one that we can all make it to. Would it be any better to try to get together like every <1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th> <Mon, Tues,..., Fri> of every month?
If we could do it around 7 pm or so, that would even give us eastern PA members time to get out to some favorable location for the rest of you guys.
Just a thought.

Unfortunately I think it's impossible to accomodate everyone all the time. In fact I think if we try to do that we'll be lucky to have more than a couple meetings all summer. It's just too hard to do each and every time. I figured that if we decide on a certain day out of each month, we'd only have to go through the process once. If it doesn't work out, we could always change it.
I see that some people have looked in on this thread but not responded. Any other thoughts?

I will probably never attend a meeting at all. I work 3rd shift and weekends when my job gets busier. What do we need meetings for anyway?? I would think that going to a cruise would be a meeting enough?

Me either Brian. Regular monthly meetings during the week?...  HA HA HA Sounds political to me. Two meetings a year is more then enough for me. I just want to drag race and go to cruises and hang out with other fellow Vellers...  ;D That's my thoughts...  |

I am okay with a meeting held during the week as opposed to the weekend. Maybe combine the meeting with an event such as a meeting at Sonic or some other place that holds a car event during the week. Quarterly meeting is most I want to attend. Having it at 7pm works for me.

Hey agree with the 2 or 4 a year.  Afterall its allabout fun right. We jus need to meet to vote on certain thing which we could actually do online. A virtual meeting. |

Dan voting on line sounds like a good idea if something needs decided. Lets keep things light and fun guys! I like that there is no huge commitment of time and $$$ to be in this club. Wow, ok. Somehow I got the impression (from the one meeeting I managed to make it to) that you guys would be interested in more frequent meetings. It seemed at the first meeting that the desire was to make the club a bit more organized and formal than what you're talking about now. I guess I misunderstood.

I agree a meeting is in order....I know the 20 bucks we all gave last year has been gone for some time! I am not a fan of the credit cards if I am able to pay in cash besides it has been a while since we had just a meeting to discuss club directions and latest news...there has been plenty of fun runs, but only a few meeting type agenda meetings. Any recomendations and a meeting time...I will pose some time after the new year preferably in January. comments...sugestions Mike |
