I finally got around to checking out the message board. Just what I need, another mesage board! That makes 4 car forums and 5 BBQ forums. ;D Pretty cool though, to have our own board. Mad props (did I just say that ) to those laboring to make this Club thing real. I haven't had much time to get involved but I look forward to being a more active member in the future. Kirk.

Nah, I wish I could. I already comitted to going to Atco that weekend for the Outlaw event and that's going to pretty much use up my free time for the weekend. I'm going to have to stop in here more often to see where you guys are getting together so I can plan better. I see that you're in New Holland. My buddy Jim and I just cooked at the BBQ contest out there. Dang, it was hot! We got our butts kicked too. Finished 43rd overall out of 72. We did get 14th in brisket and 13th in sausage though, so it wasn't a total loss. We normally do a little better than that but I think the heat (and the beer) got to us.

Hey Rick, They didn't accept our offer but went for one higher than I was willing to go. But..., the deal fell through and now the place is back on the market. Not sure what to do though because in the meantime, I found another neighborhood that would be better for us. Unfortunately, the homes are just a little out of our price range so we're trying to see what we can do there. I hate this whole process. I just have to remind myself that in the end we'll have a house in a neighborhood my son can grow up in and I will have somewhere to work on my 66.
