Would anyone be interested in looking into a track rental for next spring? The last club I was in rented Atco for the day, maybe the same can be done for Maple Grove. Track rentals are more expensive than test and tune days, but there is no crowd, you can make as many runs as you want, and you can set up your grudge runs. One thing is though usually track rentals are done during the week so it may be difficult for some people to get off work. But if you can get 15-20 cars it is a nice relaxed day that you can have fun. When I went to the rental at Atco, the traction was just as good as it would be on a regular weekend. It was just something I wanted to put out there for a group thought.

I think we could bring this up at the next meeting. Sounds like it would be a lot of fun if we can get a group together.

I know it all depends, but generally what does it cost per car to do something like this?
Wonder if its cheaper just to hit a chassis dyno??

Yea I like the idea as well. It would have to be reasonable in terms of cost though, I know many are on a budget. But yes if we could get enough to come, it would be a blast for sure.

I've sent an email to Island to see what it cost and what the requirerments are. I'll post as soon as I get an answer.
