Now that the new season is here, has anyone made any changes to their cars in search of better E.T.'s? What are your old E.T.'s and how much gain would you like to see this year.

Oh boy, Joe you want to chime in? ;D I just done a 5 speed upgrade which will probably reduce my ET just getting used to the new trans.

I have made a lot of changes to mine but I can't say for sure if the car will go any faster. 1. changed rear gears from 4.88 to 4.56 2. changed rockers from 1.7 crane stud rockers to 1.75 Jesel Shaft rockers. Along with pushrod upgrade from .080 to .145 wall to avoid deflection. 3. after 13 years finally going to an electric water pump 4. converted steering to rack and pinion, eliminated stock motor mounts and went motor plate and mid plate. 5. Extended roll cage through firewall to front rails and "x"'d the doors. 6. Changed front shocks from Comp eng 3 ways to Koni Spa-1 shocks. Hope this drops the nose going downtrack. As before this car weighed 3150 with me in it and went 9.32 at 141. I'm hoping that maybe with all of the changes I will see a 9.teen at 143-4.
