Hey Alvin, there's a reason they wouldn't let you in the tower. They didn't feel like chasing a rodent around all day. They were there to watch racing.
guess who this is from peppermint patty

Alright now the viscious cycle begins!! Rob is exactly where I started with my car back in 96'. First time out it went 11.27 at 118 with a 1.57 60' time. Now after 3 motors, 2 transmissions and way too much money look at where I am now!

The first thing my son said after I showed him my timeslips was "a couple more tenths and you'll be in the tens dad" I have no plans for making my car any faster, I like the balance it has now, respectable at the track and still enjoyable enough on the street to make the trip to O.C. Although I have been known to change my mind ;D Rob

I didn't want to go faster either. I went 11.20's with the first motor, 10.30's with the second then blew it up. Built a 509 because it was practical, realized the chassis wouldn't hold it, backhalved the car. Then I freshened the 509 and decided to put an aftermarket crank in it so it became a 540. Now this winter, the stock motor mounts are coming out and motor plates and rack and pinion steering are going in. But I'm not trying to go faster, the car does it on it's own. ;D
