Well yesterday I was spent all day yesterday in VA, had a meeting in Crystal City (Extension of the Pentagon) and then Fort Myers.
Anyway, so I am coming back it's about 7:00pm, I'm on 695 (Baltimore Beltway) doing about 70mph in the speed lane in my Trans Am. I noticed the car starting to pull to the right well before I knew it, I had a blowout on the right front tire in the speed lane doing 70+ mph - oh and I'm on a bridge to top it off, so I get the car under control and pull over on what shoulder there was (NOT much) I'm thinking, well this isn't going to work, I am within an inch of the speed lane.
So I creep up very slowly to get off the bridge where is it is possibly another foot wider. I'm thinking how the heck am I going to change a tire with one foot between me and cars cruising in the speed land at 60+ mph. Finally a nice gentleman pulls over to give me a hand, thankfully he did, I did not have a flash light and he did, he helped direct traffic away while I changed the tire only to find out my spare is flat. I know, I hardly ever drive the TA, it only has 22,000 miles and it's a 2000 why would the spare be flat
. So thankfully he had a portable air pump with him. Very nice guy, I tried to tip him and he would have nothing of it. So here I was trying to make home in time to see the Ravens (I'm from Baltimore) and Steelers game, Didn't get home until about 9pm only to see a quick 21-0 Steelers - Oh, I left at 4am in the morning, so needless to say I went to bed. Thanks for listening to me ramble.
