I've built my 66 to drive with most of the latest protouring technology. The car looks almost stock but it's under the skin that hides the secrets to a corner carving car that will run with a vette through corners and still go real fast down the 1320. I have researched the latest protouring stuff so feel free to drop me line.

Hey sean, Glad to see some one else into protouring. I don't think we have ever met but I have seen your car. Very NICE! What all have you done to your suspension and Brakes?

Chad, Here is what I have done: SUSPENSION: Front: Stock Arms Powder coated with PST bushings, Hotchkis 1” lower springs, Hellwig 1 ¾” Sway bar, KYB Shocks painted black Rear: Just Suspension boxed uppers and lowers, Hotchkis 1” lower springs, Hellwig sway bar, KYB Shocks painted black
I have 1970 Chevelle discs up front and 11" drums with high friction pads in the rear. I kept this some what tame as I wanted to run 15" wheels and the larger brakes don't work with the wheels I chose. I tried 12" baer brakes before but I could not get the SS wheels over the caliper. Transmission is an M21Y....meaning 4th gear is .82 overdrive. Rear is a 1970 Chevelle 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. Steering is a quick ratio 12:1 box.

Do you have a vintage air Ac system on your car? I think you do, how do you like it ? When he is cruising down the turnpike, he likes it, when he is staging at the Grove, it tends slow him down, hence the F16 jet engine. ;D Ok seriously, Sean...

Chad, Yes I have the vintage air setup. It works great (Even when staging) and the installtion was pain free. I only use it 2-3 times a year as I have the two vent windows which pull in a lot of air when driving. It make the temps run 10* warmer when in use so sitting in traffic with it on makes the temps climp fast, so I usually have to turn it off.
If I have it to do over again I would skip the air and spend the money on something else.
