Chad, I was just looking at the AFX package yesterday. That is one nice set up. What size brakes did you order? Are you going to a 17 or 18" wheel? If your body is coming off the frame you may be able to drop the frame off at SC&C and have everything installed since it's in the area of the body shop.

I went with the bear 13" in the front and the 12" on the rear. Mark is a good friend of Butch (My body man) and will be overseeing the project. I will also be boxing the frame to stiffen it up. I'm puttin 255/45r17 all the way around on the car.

Chad, That sounds like a great plan. I'm sure you can go with a wider tire in back, but height will be tough to match since the 255/45 are 27-28 inches tall. If you can find a 275/50 it would give you some stagger and rake for that go fast standing still look. I can't wait to see your progress pics. I guess you can tell I'm really into the pro touring builds ;D I just got my Super Chevy mag with the New RS Pro touring chevelle chassis. Man it looks great but $15K is not cheap.

YIKES...there's an echo in this room... Ride sounds like it's going to be a great one Chad. Need any help let me know. ;D I will Joe thanks The schedule for the body work is to drop it off this Sunday. Butch will start on it Monday. He wants to have the frame ready for powder coating by th first or second week in November so he can have it done while hes on vacation. I have decided to put my 350 motor back in the car. The budget is being eaten up quickly and I don't want to have to skimp on anything else. I will have to see if theres anything left down the road. Maybe i will have some cash left to put on a few bolt on performance parts.

YIKES...there's an echo in this room... Joe that's why Dan is the IT guy not me ;D Any luck selling the ride? Chad, From the passes you made last time at MG that 350 is plenty stout. You can always dress it up for a fraction of the cost of new motor. Plus there plenty easy to work on.

I think it is a wise decision to keep it a small block, the extra weight of a big block will not help you carve up them corners, I would even try to get as much weight out of the engine compartment as you can.
