I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that does re-chroming or restores moldings ? I have a few parts for my Chevelle that need to be re-done and I am tired of thingying around with the aftermarket junk that just doesen't fit . I brought a few parts to Frankford Plating in NE Philly , and they had my parts for 3 months and charged a lot of money and the quality of work was not very impressive at all . Money is not much of an issue , but quality IS ! ...... Does anyone know of a place either local or long distance that they know does good work ? Thanks again in advance ! Joe

When I was doing my car I had the bumpers and vent windows done by Tri Cty plating in Tennesse. They provide a lifetime garuantee on the work. For some reason though, I think they are only doing bumpers now. Google it!

Joe, There's a guy in Hemmings that my son in law used and he really liked his work. I have been trying to get ahold of him to do some work for me but he's not answering his phone. Maybe he's closed for the holidays. Anyway his name is George Lucas out of Jackson, N.J. . Phone # 732-833-7490 Let me know if you have any luck getting him.

Hey Joe, This is Dave, a newbie from shippensburg. I had several pieces rechromed (shift levers, tilt lever, turn signal lever, 4 headlight bezels etc) and was very impressed with this place. It is: Paul's Chrome Plating 90 Pattison Street Evans City, PA 16033 Phone:(800)-245-8679 The work was beautiful, a little pricey but worth it. They also do repair work and restoration on trim pieces also. Hope this helps. Dave
