I just wanted to pass on the results of my trip to York Dyno. My overall impression was great, Will, the owner was great to work with and worked with me to achieve the results I wanted. I was not looking for hard Numbers run but rather a Dyno Tune to ensure I was not leaning out the mix and melting a pistion. He assisted in settting the boost retard with a set of conservative numbers. we left things at 15 initial and 32 total. We also brought the A/F mixture down to 12.4 No real surprises on the TQ and HP numbers, after all we were not doing a numbers run. We only ran the chevelle to 3500 RPM and the HP and TQ stopped at 400!I must say the HP curve was still in the vertical mode when the data was stopped ;D and my converter was locked at 3800 rpm.
All in all a good shop experience, I will be a repeat customer when I get my 383 up and running!
Have a good New Year!!!
