I was bolting up my new wheels and calipers. Well they don't fit! After some further thought I added a few washers between the brake rotor and the wheel. Now they clear. So it looks as though I will be needing a 1/4 spacer to clear the caliper and wheel. Also some new lug nuts and maybe longer wheel studs. ;D This is going to be interesting!

Chad, I'd call Mark at SC&C and see what he recommends. Some wheel spacers are better then others so check it out before you go and spend more $$ on the wrong spacers.

I agree with both Sean and Joe. Double check Chad and the headaches have just begun. But when you are all done, you'll be Soooooo happy.

17x8 with 4 back spacing. I believe the main ploblem with the larger Baer calipers.

I contacted Mark and he recommended going with the BS spacers. I just got them today and tried them out. Its all good now! The next step is to install longer wheel studs and new lug nuts.

I ordered some new longer ARP wheel studs and got them installed. After I tightened up the lugs the wheels still rub the caliper. I was just a little upset at this point so I walked away. I haven't work on the car at all since then. I will get back to it though. Anyone want to buy a new set of wheels?

Seems like a better way to go than having to buy new wheels. And I'm sure the wheel guy won't take them back since you mounted up tires. I feel your pain. Let us know how it works out as I may be interewsted in new wheels.

I have not total given up on these wheels fitting yet but, I would rather not have to use wheel spacers.

After some more inspection of these wheels it turns out that The spacers did the trick. The scraping noise I was hearing was just the new brk pads and slotted rotors rubbing ;D
