I'm looking to purchase a set of ceramic coated headers for my 505. I would like something that will not have any clearence issues. (bottoming out) The spec of the header should be 2" primarys with 3" collectors. Thanks for your input.

you don't want hookers then. they hang down and do bottom out on our wonderful PA roads. If you are lowering your car with a suspension kit then you will most likely have clearance issues with any header. jmo

I have a 1969 Chevelle, after the new BBC 454 went in,I bought 8,yes 8 pair of headers. The only pair that was a direct fit, with absolutely no problems were Hedman..They have a beautiful finish,Nice thick flanges..I have had them off and on several times with Percy's "dead soft" gaskets...use them forever, never a leak...and if you ever have to change the starter or take out the tranny it's a snap...Just my opinion, but they look great under the hood, going on 3 years now... __________________ Big Block Power....,Imports for breakfast,Mustangs for lunch.

Chad, I would recomend that you have the flanges rotated so they do not hang to low, i regret not having my flanges turned. just a suggestion. Mike

In PA, headers could be considered an expendable wear item ;D
