I was hopeing for next weekend but I'm meeting a little resistance from the financial department (wife) ;D I still need to purchase a radiator to finish the cooling system.

Look at the Alumitech radiator. The guys are sponsers on TC and make a very nice factory fit bolt in unit. Mine was a peice of cake to install.

Chad I wish I could remember where Jim and I got our rads. I took out the plastic petthingy(sensored spelling) and installed a brass type. Jim's 70 has a BB 500ci solid roller cam'd motor and he has been running his water pump with a moroso electric motor and hasn't had any cooling problems since last september. Jim was using a GM van rad single core plactic tanks and mine was copper/brass 4 core. Mine was a verticle flow bolt in and Jims was a crossflow. we paid 169.00+shipping on amazon. I talked to 2 guys last year before I got mine that were running summit brand rads. they are made by northen radiators(usa). another thing is the fans. Jim is using a ford windstar setup with dual toggles 1 for the small fan and 1 for the big puller fan. here is something I was looking at doing with my chevelle using a taurus fan. scroll down for diagram.

i bought a rad from Nicks Auto right before he went out of business.
its a BOP rad, 3 core, brass i think, works good in my warmed over 355 with stock 7 blade clutch fan.
i have some sort of dual e-fans but they wont work with my current rad.
you can have them rick if you want. they are just taking up space.

i also forgot i have Moroso wires on the trans am. work good.

A have another ? Will I need a set of high temp sleeves to go over these wires if I run them under the headers?

I never had boots on mine and never had trouble but your motor ,well thats a monster compared to mine

I don't have sleeves on mine. Never had a problem with a wire going bad or becoming burnt yet. They have been on the car for 8 years now.
