Well I finally got out to Cecil County today to try out the new combo. It went pretty well except for I think my trans dipstick is the cause of my fluid leak. Anyway, first pass out while it was still in the low 80's and the sun hadn't been beating on the track too much I left the line and thought wow this thing is moving. So I get to the timing booth and get the slip.
9.163 146.11 mph.
Considering the best it went before was 9.32 at 141 in 50 degree end of October weather. I figure it was running pretty good for almost 3200 lbs of non aerodynamic GM steel.
During eliminations the car was slowing down as the heat went up and I made it to the second round where I lost by .019.
